JPMorgan analyst Doug Anmuth believes that the buyout would allow Amazon to be more innovative in delivering the customer buying experience in Whole Foods stores. Amazon also offers grocery shipments elsewhere, but that's tough with perishable foods. A civil lawsuit filed in federal court in MI on Thursday claims the diesel versions of the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra pickups produce higher levels of nitrous oxide when they are being driven than during tests. GM is at least the sixth automaker to face charges of emissions cheating.
