There's now no word as to how long you'll be able to buy the OnePlus 5 in Soft Gold, but we'd advise buying sooner rather than later if you want to secure a unit for yourself. This is not the first time that the company has announced the Soft Gold variant of its flagship after the main launch event. The Soft Gold OnePlus 5 will be available only in 6GB RAM variant with 64GB of internal storage.

OnePlus has officially announced the Soft Gold variant of the OnePlus 5. The new variant can also be experience at OnePlus' Experience stores in Bengaluru, Mall of India in Noida, and Select Citywalk in New Delhi.

In India, it will be available from Amazon.in and oneplusstore.in starting August 9th at 12:00 AM.

The device is available for $479 and it has the same specs as the other OnePlus 5 colour variants. Some digging into Chinese certification authority TENAA's web content for the phone mentions a "Mint Gold" colour option, and it's possible that the leaf shown in the image is a mint leaf.

OnePlus 5 Price in India is Rs. 32,999 for 6GB RAM model and Rs. 37,999 for 8GB RAM model. The graphics are handled by an Adreno 540 GPU.

OnePlus 5 comes with dual camera setup.

This phone is mounted with Dual Rear cameras - 16 MP main camera with Sony IMX 398 sensor, f/1.7 aperture, EIS, dual LED flash and secondary Telephoto camera of 20 MP with Sony IMX 350 sensor, and f/2.6 apertur. The handset runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box.

Speaking on this phone, the GM of OnePlus 5 India has said, "As a maker of the most beautifully designed smartphones, it gives us enormous joy to introduce the latest OnePlus 5 with even more refined and elegant Soft Gold finish this festival season". On the front is a 16MP autofocus camera for selfies and video calls.

The Soft Gold shade looks similar to its predecessors and will probably appeal to those who like having a white and gold combo rather than black on black.
