Federal Bureau of Investigation joins farm search for 4 missing men; foul play feared

Search on in Solebury for four missing men

PREVIOUS STORY BELOW***The Bucks County district attorney said "multiple locations" are being searched for four missing men who haven't been seen since last week.

Weintraub identified the missing men as Mark Sturgis, 22, of Pennsburg, Montgomery County; Tom Meo, 21, of Plumstead Township, Bucks County; Dean Finocchiario, 19, of Middletown Township, Bucks County; and Jimi Tar Patrick, 19, of Newtown Township, Bucks County. Dean Finocchiaro, 18, was next to go missing and was last seen getting into a vehicle around 6:30pm Friday. For now, he is asking for the community's prayers.

Solebury police said they have no reason to believe township residents are in danger.

It is "all hands on deck" until the investigation is complete, he said. He has also had no contact with his family or friends, and he has not shown up for work, behavior not considered typical for him.

While investigators have said the men are friends, it is unclear if there is any other connection.

On July 6th about 5 p.m. Newtown Township Police Department received a missing persons report for Jimi Tar Patrick.

Authorities are chasing fast-developing leads in the search for four young men feared to be the victims of foul play, but said Monday that it could take days despite intense efforts centered on a large swath of farmland.

"Right now, the focus of the investigation is to determine their whereabouts, and if we can bring them home safely", Weintraub said. NBC Philadelphia reports that Finocchiaro was an acquaintance of Sturgis and Meo. Clark says that her family is offering a reward for information and that her son is a diabetic. The mother of 22-year-old Mark Sturgis, of Pennsburg, Montgomery County, says his vehicle was found at the Peddler's Village shopping complex in Bucks County. He also did not elaborate as to why investigators descended on a house on Aquetong Road on Sunday evening or why they believe it is connected with the disappearances.

Patrick went missing on Wednesday, July 5.

Finocchiaro was last seen getting into a vehicle on Hampton Drive around 6:30 p.m. Friday. The case is being treated as a criminal investigation until authorities know differently, Weintraub said. Another man, 19-year-old Dean Finocchiaro, is a mutual friend of theirs, Potash told The Associated Press. "He is 5'9", 150 pounds and has brown hair and hazel eyes.

Officials are expected to provide another update on the search at 11 a.m. on Tuesday.
