Shia LaBeouf Was Arrested Again, Booked for Public Drunkenness and Disorderly Conduct

Actor Shia La Beouf arrested in Georgia for public drunkenness

Shia LaBeouf was arrested early Saturday morning on suspicion of public drunkenness, obstruction, and disorderly conduct after causing a disturbance at Savannah, Georgia's City Market.

As of Saturday morning, LaBeouf has posted bond for his latest arrest and was released. After being denied the cigarette he was seeking, Shia LaBeouf reportedly "became disorderly" by using profanities and vulgar language.

"When the officer attempted to place LaBeouf under arrest, LaBeouf ran to a nearby hotel", it further read.

LaBeouf is now in Savannah filming The Peanut Butter Falcon. Shia was accused of shoving another man who was protesting his anti-Trump "He Will Not Divide Us" online performance art project.

In 2007, he was again arrested on charges of Misdemeanour Criminal trespassing after he refused to leave a Chicago WALGREENS when asked, though those charges were later dropped.

ET has reached out to LaBeouf's rep for comment. Per TMZ, Shia was arrested in 2015 in Austin due to his level of intoxication. The actor has been previously arrested for drunk driving (2008) and "drunken behavior" (2014).

After his arrest in 2014, LaBeouf's representative told PEOPLE: "He understands that these recent actions are a symptom of a larger health problem and he has taken the first of many necessary steps towards recovery". The star agreed to get alcohol abuse treatment as part of a settlement related to the incident.
