Alexis Sanchez informs Arsenal he wants to join Manchester City

Lacazette

Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez is being lined up by Inter Milan, who are "dreaming" of making him the "poster boy" of a new era for the Nerazzurri.

Meanwhile, contract rebel Mesut Ozil has dropped a big hint he is staying by praising the signing of Lacazette.

They also don't want him to leave for free and are more open to the idea of him leaving this summer, should a foreign club come in for him.

Sanchez hinted at a possible "exit" during the just concluded FIFA Confederations Cup in Russian Federation.

Sanchez had been offered a £300,000-a-week contract at Arsenal (£15.6m), but reports indicate he will ask for £400,000-a-week to stay at the Emirates (£20.8m). However, nothing has materialized and no offers has so far been received for the Chilean. The Turkish global has struggled much to establish himself as a key first team player at Barcelona since his arrival from Atletico Madrid in 2015.

Liverpool are interested in signing Chamberlain this summer as Jürgen Klopp looks to add another winger to his side - with the Englishman's versatility also said to be appealing.

The Daily Star reports Arsenal are adamant the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will not be sold to a Premier League rival, despite the duo both having entered the final 12 months of their current deals.

In the last campaign, Alex only started 16 times in the Premier League and directly contributed in 9 goals (7 goals and 2 assists).

In short, if Alexis wants to go, City are the only club who will sign him.

According to O Jogo h/t Metro, the 28-year-old's move to the Etihad is virtually complete after he "verbally" agreed on personal terms with the Mancunian giants.
