Ariana Grande resumes Dangerous Woman Tour in Paris

Ariana is set to play the next leg of her French tour in Lyon on Friday June 8.

Grande previously suspended her tour in the aftermath of the attack, which took 22 lives and injured many more.

"This past week I have spent in reflective thought, prayer & deep sorrow", she wrote on Twitter. "I love you with all my heart", she posted to Instagram.

"It appears this Ariana is like the Pied Piper of Hamelin, leading a whole generation of young people, and indeed some very young people, to a very risky place", he said, adding that Grande is "indeed a unsafe woman". But she returned to the city on Sunday for an all-star benefit concert for victims that raised some $3 million.

Grande's Dangerous Woman tour was originally postponed to "further assess the situation and pay proper respects to those lost", the singer's management previously told PEOPLE in a statement.

Ahead of the show's start, Grande shared a photo of the Eiffel Tower on Instagram, along with a few heartfelt words for her supporters.

Paris has been subjected to a string of terror attacks in recent months, including an incident just hours before Grande's concert which saw police shoot a man dead after he attacked an officer outside the Notre-Dame cathedral.

On Sunday, Right Wing Watch reports David Whitney of the Maryland-based Institute on the Constitution delivered a sermon blasting Grande for her support of LGBT rights.

"The excitement sort of replaces the fear, but it's true that there is a part of me that is still a bit scared", said Edith, a 16 year-old Parisian fan. "Carry on smiling because love always wins", one follower noted, while another offered "I love you Ari, Glad you're back".

Ariana also released her live cover of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" as a charity single.
