Gyms, Raids and Legendary Pokemon

It's a gym Jim

This is an item that Pokemon Go players have been clamoring for ever since the game launched in July 2016, but now Niantic finally has plans to add it in as part of a massive new Pokemon Go update.

The developer's idea of gifting gamers with codes to the Legendaries after actively using the new gym system is also a pretty great way to get more players to use the new system, and to get back into the game. You'll be able to spin on gyms and receive items just like you would regular Pokestops, with the usual cooldown time between them. In addition to this, Gyms are being modified so that teams now have a six permanent slots which can be filled by the team who controls the Gym.

There's also going to be Gym Badges that you can collect for getting involved the Gyms, suggesting that people are now more interested in collecting Pokemon than battling. The game also featured gyms where players could go to battle with their Pokemon and be the best in that area.

Full details can be located at the link above, but this is definitely going to change the way the game is played and how people will react as a team to accomplish goals. Gyms will soon see badges and co-operative raid battles. So for those of you that visit a ton of gyms, you have some incentive to go and visit more gyms in order to get more of these badges.

The gym system has been a point of contention ever since Pokemon Go came out.

As the Pokemon's motivation drops, its CP drops too, meaning a Pokemon will get progressively weaker and weaker the longer it is in a gym. The lower a Pokemon's motivation, the lower its CP, which will make it even easier to defeat.

You can run raid battles in a private group as well. "If a Pokemon loses all motivation, it will leave the Gym and return to its Trainer the next time it loses a battle, so you'll want to keep your team's Pokemon motivated by giving them Berries frequently".

There is huge surprise coming up for Pokemon Go Players Solstices event that is going to end on June 13 to 1:00 P.M. PDT on June 20, 2017. When a raid boss is set to appear at a gym, all the Pokemon there will be sent home, and a giant egg will appear, bearing a countdown. These items are Rare Candies, Golden Razz Berries, Fast Technical Machines (TMs), and Charge Technical Machines (TMs).
