Don't call me Caitlyn: Baby name plunges in popularity

Caitlyn Jenner

Olympian and reality star Caitlyn Jenner isn't talking about what gender she desires.

Jenner also said "the best thing the Republican party can do is do a better job on LGBT issues", adding that she was not a "big supporter" of the Republican party, nor Trump, but "I am a big supporter of my community and that is what I'm fighting for". "Sometimes it takes them a lot of time to realise that, they think it's going to be so different, and it's really not, I'm still in so many ways the same person and I still love them to death and eventually those who are still on the outside will come a bit closer".

Jenner said some of her children were mourning the "loss of Bruce", the name she lived by before transitioning. And just because you're trans doesn't mean that you have to ask every question...

Caitlyn Jenner sat down with her pal Larry King for an interview today, and the TV journalist grilled her about everything from her sexual orientation to her decision to undergo sexual reassignment surgery.

Caitlyn Jenner has credited the "Caitlyn" inside her for winning her gold medal in the decathlon in the 1976 Olympic games.

When asked by hosts Ruth and Eamonn what his grandchildren call her, she said: "Pro-nouns are always very interesting".

"The surgery was a success, and I feel not only wonderful but liberated", she wrote in her book of the "complex" procedure. "I don't even go there Larry", she shot back, before King jokingly hit on her and asked what she was doing later!

Are you surprised Caitlyn talked about the surgery with Larry King?

King then interjected to explain that the he was only interested in the subject for one reason, asking: 'What is the surgery like, what is it like to go through with it'.

Jenner publicly revealed her transition in 2015 and has transformed herself into an activist for the transgender community.

It is unclear where Jenner got that number or its accuracy. And that's the nice part about going through this, I've done everything i needed to do to get to this point in my life and be open about it.
