Fatima Sana Shaikh joins cast of 'Thugs of Hindostan'

There had been buzz for a while about Dangal (2016) actress Fatima Sana Shaikh being roped in for Thugs of Hindostan starring Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan.

Fatima Sana Shaikh, who made an impressive debut with Dangal, has joined the star-studded cast of Yash Raj Films' forthcoming mega project Thugs of Hindostan.

"Thugs of Hindostan" has been in the news ever since the film was announced. "Her fierce look from the movie also got leaked a few weeks back, and we couldn't have been happier for the versatile actress" big break for the second time. Co-starring Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan, writer-director Vijay Krishna Acharya will be directing the film.

This is the second time Acharya will be directing Khan after the blockbuster "Dhoom:3".

Earlier it was speculated about Fatima doing the film to which she had cleared the airs that she has not yet been approached for the film but now it has been officially declared that she will be a part of the film. "We are very happy to have found the flawless girl for our film", said director Vijay Krishna Acharya. There have been names of actresses like Alia Bhatt, Shraddha Kapoor, Vaani Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan and Fatima Sana Shaikh being considered for the film.

Aamir Is The Reason Behind Fatima's Selection.

The film is also a first that will feature a collaboration between Aamir and Big B. The filming is expected to begin next month for a Diwali release in 2018.

Earlier this year, a photograph of Fatima dressed as a warrior and reported to be from a look test for the film, went insane viral.
