Julia Roberts named 'World's Most Beautiful Woman' for the fifth time

Miami Marlins Ichiro Suzuki walks into the cage for batting practice as fans hold a sign behind him before the Marlins baseball game against the Seattle Mariners Tuesday

Julia Roberts was just named the World's Most Beautiful Woman by People magazine for the fifth time and earning that honor so many times might make Roberts an expert on beauty and fashion.

The 49-year-old has previously claimed the title of Most Beautiful in 1991, 2000, 2005 and 2010.

People's Editorial Director Jess Cagle announced the magazine's decision on "Good Morning America", adding that the magazine's annual "Most Beautiful" issue will hit newsstands nationwide on Friday.

Julia is ahead of her BFF George Clooney in the Most Beautiful department, as he's only been "Sexiest Man Alive' twice".

In short, it's a better time to be Julia Roberts now than it's ever been, and there's potential that it could only go up from here. Roberts is more than just a "Pretty Woman".

But if, one second later, you realized that literally nothing had changed in the world, it might be because People chose Julia Roberts.

Roberts laughed and said, "I'm going to mention that in my Christmas card to the Clooneys this year".

Other than Roberts, Sandra Bullock also got the title in 2015 and Jennifer Aniston received it last year, at 47-years-old. But she settled down with cameraman Moder in 2002, and now, nearly 15 years into their marriage, they're as in love as ever and have three children.

Last year, F.R.I.E.N.D.S star Jennifer Aniston had been named the magazine's most attractive woman.

Back in 1990, "Pretty Woman" made her a household name in Hollywood. In fact, People Magazine's "Most Beautiful" issue isn't necessarily based only on beauty, note the readers.

Roberts has been married to cinematographer Danny Moder for 14 years, they have three kids.
