US Sen. Elizabeth Warren launches book tour

Senator Elizabeth Warren said Tuesday morning that she isn't planning to challenge President Donald Trump for the White House in 2020

Instead she endorsed Hillary Clinton in the Democratic primary, disappointing progressives that backed Vermont Sen.

"All during the campaign, Donald Trump said that he wanted to break up the big banks; he was in favor of Glass-Steagall", Warren pointed out. Nevertheless, she persisted, ' McConnell said then.

Senator Cruz cited one particular Democrat leader as the next incumbent president if White House Republicans did not act in solidarity.

According to a report from The Hill, the senator appeared this morning on NBC's "Today" was directly asked if she planned to run for president in 202.

Warren used the line again in a National Public Radio interview promoting her new book.

GUTHRIE: And, Senator, a lot of people will say that what this book is about is launching the presidential campaign of Elizabeth Warren. "Book tours from politicians are usually a good sign that they've got their eyes set on higher office and that's the way we are interpreting these tea leaves from Warren".

"She initially assumed the book would be a friendly spur to the left for a president named Hillary Clinton, viewed by some liberals as an uncertain ally on such issues as trade".

She went on to explain that the objective of her book has changed since she began writing it.

However, in another interview with Susan Page of USA Today, Warren could not promise her MA constituents that she would serve out a full term if reelected. "It should provide opportunities for us we hope", Reed added. The names being floated for 2020 include but aren't limited to, Elizabeth Warren, Cory Booker, and Kristen Gillibrand.

"This is my 11th book and books are part of the way I fight for what I believe in", she told Politico last week.
