Showers and a possible thunderstorm are possible before 7 a.m. Friday, but partly sunny skies are expected for the rest of the day. the high will be near 69. Cloudy, with a high near 71. East wind 8 to 11 miles per hour becoming south in the afternoon.

Thursday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 50.

Another day of sunshine, and then chances of rain is in store for Polk County as the National Weather Service calls for evening wet weather again, and sunshine returning for the whole day on Thursday. Up to a quarter of an inch of rain could fall, and the high will be near 71. South winds 5 to 10 miles per hour.

Mostly cloudy, with a low around 46.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 77.
